Margot Robbie Was Encouraged to Change Barbie’s Release Date by an Oppenheimer Producer, 'We’re Not Moving!'

Margot Robbie rightly stood her ground as a producer on this summer’s bright-pink blockbuster. During a new interview featuring the titular star of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and Oppenheimer’s own Cillian Murphy, Robbie revealed that she was actually phoned by one of the producers of Christopher Nolan's historical drama. And he wanted Robbie to change the Mattel adaptation’s theatrical release date. Robbie wasn’t having it, as she revealed to Murphy on Variety’s latest installment of Actors on Actors. Robbie said:
