Smile 2 in the Works After Director Inks New Deal with Paramount

Filmmaker Parker Finn has a lot to be happy about upon signing a major deal with Paramount Pictures. Per THR, Finn has inked a multi-year, first-look deal with the studio to develop new movies for the foreseeable future. Last year, Finn made some waves with the debut of Smile, the acclaimed horror film written and directed by the filmmaker. That success has led to this new deal, and while no further details have yet been divulged, word is that Smile 2 is one of the top priorities for Paramount with Finn returning to write and direct as well as produce.
