James Wan and Jason Blum to Develop Dead by Daylight Horror Feature Adaptation

Video game adaptations tend to be tricky to navigate when translating the source material to the big screen for larger audiences. However, adaptations like HBO’s The Last of Us are ushering in a renaissance within a genre that has been plagued with poorly done cinematic renditions over the years. According to a Variety exclusive, horror industry mainstays Blumhouse’s Jason Blum and Atomic Monster’s James Wan are next in line to try their hand at breaking the video game adaptation curse. In their upcoming collaboration with Behaviour Interactive, the duo is developing a feature adaptation of the popularized horror game, Dead by Daylight.
