The best Verizon deals: Get a free iPhone 12, and more
Verizon is the biggest US carrier, with great coverage and a decent selection of phones. For those seeking a new device but looking for the best deal possible, finding the best Verizon savings doesn’t have to be a trawl. In this post, we’ve put together the best Verizon deals that we’re currently aware of. Let’s dive in, shall we?
Featured deal: Get a free iPhone 12
If you’ve been itching to grab one of the latest iPhones, Verizon is making the deal even sweeter right now. There are two ways you can get a free iPhone 12 — buy one and get one for free, or trade-in your current device.
By purchasing an iPhone 12, 12 Pro, or 12 Pro Max on a 24-month unlimited plan, you can get another for $1,000 off, effectively making the second iPhone 12 or 12 Pro free. If you’re just looking for a deal for a new phone for yourself, you can trade-in your current device to get up to $700 off your new iPhone 12 on an unlimited contract. On top of that, if you switch to Verizon Unlimited, you will also receive a $300 virtual prepaid Mastercard.

1. Buy one Galaxy S21 Plus, get one free
If you’re looking to switch to Verizon and pick up the latest and greatest from Samsung, then this is the deal to get. If you pick up a Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, or S21 Ultra, you can save $1,000 on promo credits on a second device. For the S21 or S21 Plus, that means you’ll be getting the second device for free.
This is a great deal to get in on with a friend, family member, or significant other that’s also looking to upgrade their phone. You’ll have to pay for the phones with 24 or 30 monthly payments and an unlimited plan, but it’s hard to argue with getting two phones for the price of one.

The latest Galaxy S phones are always some of the top phones of the year, and it’s likely there won’t be many phones launched in 2021 that will offer the speed, power, and reliability of a Galaxy S21 smartphone. Click below to check out the details of the deal.
2. Grab your next phone for free
How does a free iPhone 11 sound? There are several great phones that are free right now from Verizon as long as you add a new line of service on a qualifying unlimited plan. You’ll pay for the device upfront, but you’ll receive bill credits for the full value of it over 24 months.
The iPhone 11 is the most notable example, but the deal also applies to a few other devices such as the iPhone SE, Motorola One 5G UW, and the Galaxy A02s. Hit the button below to see the full array.
3. Get the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G UW for $10 a month
While not quite free like the phones above, there are Verizon deals on several devices right now, which means that they’re as low as $10 per month, rather than the higher prices they usually carry.
One of the most notable deals is on the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G UW, which you can pick up for only $10 a month. The FE (“Fan Edition”) brings together many of the features that Samsung consumers love while avoiding a higher price point at the same time. In fact, the ongoing deal at Verizon has this fan-pleasing device priced at a 66% off.

The FE has a large AMOLED display, Wireless PowerShare, and an octa-core 2.8 GHz processor. While this phone isn’t the most powerful Galaxy device on the market, if you’re not planning on doing any intense computing or gaming, this model could be for you.

4. Military, teachers, nurses, and first responder discounts
In an age where teachers, nurses, and other first responders are asked to work like never before, Verizon is giving back. The carrier offers a variety of perks and discounts for those who serve — from unlimited plans for $30 per month to hiring veterans; it’s an impactful way to say thank you. The plan discounts are valid on four-line plans, so your entire family can save.
It’s easy to sign up — simply verify your eligibility and enroll with your basic information. If you’re a service member looking for employment, you and your spouse can join the Verizon Talent Network and stay informed with the latest job postings.
5. College discounts — save up to $25 on unlimited
There’s a good chance that your spring semester is taking place at least partly online, and that means you’ll need reliable data. While some schools plan to conduct in-person classes, others are making the move to online learning. Whatever the situation, Verizon has college students covered. Right now, you can save $10 per month with a single line of unlimited service or $25 on a pair of lines. All you have to do is verify your student status with UNiDAYS, and then Verizon will hook you up.
The offer is good for online students as well, and you don’t have to add a new line of service. However, the offer is only good for a maximum of four years, so super-seniors be warned.
6. Get up to $650 in Verizon eGift Cards when you switch
Verizon is jam-packed with great deals if you want a new device, but what if you’re happy with the one you’ve got? Well, you can get $650 money back in the form of a gift card just for bringing your current device to the network and activating an unlimited plan.
Unlike most deals, you’ll have to add a promo code at the rebate center to get your eGift Card. Claiming the card requires a promo code, which you’ll be provided with when you sign up. For a limited time, the reward also comes with a Verizon Stream TV for free.
